i'm scared

dear dr. luv..
there's this boy, who courted me for 2 years now this coming feb.25, i really wanna be a part of his life or love life, but i think i'm not yet ready cuz i still don't have a full trust on him. i'm afraid cuz if we will have a committed relationship it'll end up with tears, i'm not afraid of crying or anything, i'm just scared of hurting him.

You have the right to be scared and worried. He has been unfaithful twice and you don't want to wait for three strikes to be out. If you have kids with him it makes things a little more difficult to leave. Honestly you don't have kids together I would lean towards leaving. If he is going to be with other women, let him be with them without you.

You deserve to be happy as well, and there are a lot of other men who will treat you as you want to be treated.

hmm..i have problems on faith because he already cheated me twice so.. that's it, i'm trying to bring back my trust on him but i just cant give all. Im afraid of hurting him cuz I experienced it once ant it was painful. I don’t want him to experience it though, for me he’s the sweetest friend I had and I cant afford hurting him.

This boy has been trying to be with you for 2 years now which means he has very strong intentions for you. Don't be scared. Personally I think it will probably work out better than you think. The on thing I want to understand is why you think that you will hurt him. Do you have problems being faithful? What is it? Whatever it is you need to address it because if you don't bring pain to this boy it may be the next.
